LexServ, LLC (“LexServ,” “our,” or “we”) provides services to investors in life insurance contracts and other business clients, including life settlement servicing, medical records retrieval, and related services. Where personal information is provided to LexServ by or on behalf of our business client organizations, LexServ is a data processor, service provider or contractor to such organizations, as those terms are used in applicable privacy laws.

This privacy policy explains LexServ’s general practices for collecting, using, disclosing and protecting personal information. This privacy policy may be supplemented by additional privacy statements, terms or notices as provided on LexServ’s websites or applications.
This privacy policy does not apply to workforce-related personal information collected from LexServ’s employees, job applicants, contractors, or similar individuals. Please contact LexServ’s human resources department with questions about workforce-related personal information.
LexServ’s services, websites, and applications are for U.S.-based life insurance policies.

LexServ may collect information about individuals:

- Indirectly from use of LexServ’s services, websites, or applications or attendance at marketing-related events, such as conferences and webinars;
- From another company within our family of companies; and
- From third parties, such as insurance carriers or LexServ’s business clients.
LexServ may collect or process for LexServ’s business clients the following categories of personal information about individuals:
- Personal identifiers, such as name, date of birth, address, email address, and phone number, and gender;
- Government identifiers;
- Health information, such as medical records, medical conditions, prescription information, and social habits (such as tobacco use, substance use, etc.);

For example, if you view a webinar or other video on LexServ’s YouTube account, you can opt-out of YouTube cookies by changing the settings in your web browser. However, if you block certain cookies, you may not be able to register for, log into, access certain parts of, or make full use of LexServ’s services, websites, and applications.
LexServ may collect or process personal information that is subject to certain privacy laws and regulations.

LexServ may use (including on behalf of LexServ’s business clients) personal information to:

LexServ may also deidentify or aggregate personal information to create datasets.

LexServ may disclose personal information to process the information based on our instructions or instructions by our business clients and in accordance with this privacy policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. We may disclose personal information to:
- Another company in our family of companies;
- Our service providers, suppliers, contractors, agents and representatives;
- Our clients pursuant to servicing or licensing agreements;
- Third parties, such as insurance carriers or medical facilities; and
- An individual’s business entity sponsor, if the individual accesses LexServ’s services, websites, or applications under an entity’s agreement (for example, a company, corporation, nonprofit, partnership, bank or other business entity).

Our services, websites, or applications may contain links to other sites. LexServ is not responsible for the security, privacy practices or the content of such linked sites.
- Updating Personal Information
LexServ provides services to investors in life insurance contracts and other business organizations. Personal information is provided to LexServ from or on behalf of those organizations, and LexServ is a service provider, contractor, or data processor/collector to such organizations. If you send us updated personal information, LexServ will update our records. If you request to deactivate your account or delete your personal information, LexServ will endeavor to fulfill such request in accordance with our policies, but some personal information may be retained in backup copies for a certain period of time and as necessary for legitimate business purposes, or to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Access to personal information that LexServ gathers from certain sources is subject to applicable laws and our data sharing policy.
- Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 or target LexServ’s services, websites, or applications to children under the age of 13. LexServ may collect information about children under the age of 13 from a parent or guardian with their consent, and this data is protected in accordance with this privacy policy.

LexServ will notify you of changes or updates to our services, websites or applications or to this privacy policy whenever necessary, in LexServ’s discretion, through email, invoice announcements, the functionality of our services, websites or applications, or by updating LexServ’s websites or applications. If you have an account with LexServ, we may notify you through such account. Any changes to this privacy policy will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of LexServ’s services, websites, and applications following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
